WHEN HE CLOSES IN

Today's reading: Job 11-12

"...When he closes in on someone, there is no escape." Job 12:14 NLT

I can't begin to guess who might be on your prayer list.

Sons. Daughters. Parents. Grandchildren. Friends. Co-workers. Neighbors.

Some have 'made the list' because of health issues, financial needs or maybe huge decisions they are being forced to make.

I hope some are on your list who need the Lord.

Someone who needs salvation for the first time...

Another who might need strengthening in their Christian walk...

One who has turned their back on the Lord...

Prodigals who are in the far country...

Job's words should be an encouragement to us as we speak each and every name on those lists.

You see, when we ask God to step into the circumstances, situations and lives of loved ones--He will!

He wants them saved even more than we do...

He desires that they come back to Him even more than we do...

He desires that they see Him in their situations and bring Him glory, even more than we do...

He wants them to seek Him, even in the far country, even more than we do...

So keep speaking their names to Him. Continue to ask that He be 'all up in their business'. Request that He close in on them in a way only He can.

Because when He does, they cannot escape!
