HOW I SHOULD PRAY
Today's reading: Deuteronomy 29-30, Luke 10:38-11:23, Psalm 68:20-27

"He said, This is how you should pray: Father, may your name be honored..." Luke 11:2 NLT

I needed this prayer reminder this morning.

You see, lately a lot of my prayers have started off with, Lord, I need...

Or, Lord, I want...

Or, Lord, help me...

Or, Lord, forgive me...

But today's reading reminds me that when I pray, when I speak to the Creator, when I converse with my Savior, when my words are being formed in order to be heard by my God...it's all about Him.

It's ultimately about Him receiving all the glory.

It's about Him being spotlighted in my life by what He chooses to do, and when He chooses to do it.

It's about Him honoring His own promises to me because that is who He is and how He does things.

It's about Him, it's all about Him!
