Today's reading: Proverbs 11-12

"Wise people don't make a show of their knowledge, but fools broadcast their folly." Proverbs 12:23 NLT

I cannot read this verse without picturing Lucy, Charlie Brown's friend, and the booth she sets up in order to answer the questions of the world.

She has her sign. She sits waiting for the world to come to her door. She believes she knows what every person might need.

Those aren't the kind of people we usually seek out for help, are they?

I have a select group of godly folks to whom I can go for help with life's questions--and none of them have signs posted!
