WORKING RETAIL
Today's reading: 1 Corinthians 9-10

Working retail has given me alot of helpful hints when it comes to Christianity.

Each and every day I am called on to put my best face forward, regardless of what turmoil I may have left at home, how I feel or my snap judgements on the person I'm waiting on...all useful tools in bringing someone to Christ.

Every day I clock in I know what needs done, how I must go about it and that what I'm doing requires my full attention...once again, very helpful in walking the 'walk' and talking the 'talk'.

Every week I am rewarded for my diligence, self-control and determination by a paycheck...heaven will be my paycheck, but God also chooses to bless the socks off me at the most unusual times of obedience!

Walking with Christ and winning the unsaved over to Him will require a little effort on our part--but is it really effort in comparison to all He's already done?
