A COOL DRINK
Today's reading:  Proverbs 25

"Good news from far away is like cold water to the thirsty."  Proverbs 25:25 NLT

Ever been thirsty?  Really thirsty?

After a day of weeding in the garden?

An extra lap on the track?

A day of a hundred errands and no time to stop for a drink?

After a dose or two of sinus medication?

In those instances, nothing but a tall, cool glass of water will fulfill your needs and desire.

The same is true for the Good News we bring to the dark world.

They're dying of thirst.  They're starving for the truth.  They're in a life-or-death struggle.

And what glean from the Word of God, from our time in God's presence, from what we hear and absorb in our church services, from what we learn from having a loving, living, reviving and saving Savior live within us--is just what they need.

Quench someone's thirst today.  Share God's love in a way only you can.
