PLEASING OTHERS

Today's reading: Romans 15-16

"We should please others. If we do what helps them, we will build them up in the Lord." Romans 15:2 NLT

I challenge you today to put yourself on the back burner--for just a little while.

To put another's needs before yours.

To give someone your place in line.

To pass on a blessing.

Does this mean you aren't worthy of being recognized, blessed or acknowledged? Heavens, no!

Does this mean you are to be a doormat, deny yourself to the point of physical and mental exhaustion, or never ever receive a blessing for yourself? No, emphatically, NO!

It's merely a challenge to watch the circumstances God places you in, and take full advantage of the opportunities presented to build up another in the Lord.

It's like being assigned a 'special agent' badge and awarded the dare, 'Make someone's day!'

Are you up to the challenge? 

Are you willing to take on the charge?

Are you excited to see how and where God will choose to use you?
