Today's reading: 2 Corinthians 1-3

"...And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more." 2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT

I don't know about you, but there are days that IF I were to be measured and found to be one millimeter more like Jesus than the day before I would be surprised.

Because on those days I don't feel any progress was being made.

No forward motion.

No improvement.

But if the Spirit of the Lord is within us, He is at work.

Shining in us, sprouting within us the seeds of faith, the fruit of the Spirit to a fuller harvest, the good works of God to an ordained ending, the hope of a Living God to fulfil His plan.

So on those days when you cannot see it, do not feel it, cannot believe it--trust His work, believe His Word.
