Today's reading: Proverbs 10

If reading this verse doesn't make you think about your own life, about how you view your thoughts on your bank balance, your net worth, your assets and liabilities, your padded wallet, I'm not sure you truly read it...so go back and read it again.
I'll wait.
No, really, I'll wait.
Because while you are reading it again, it will give me time to ponder the depths and breadths of this proverb.
And ask myself a few questions...
Am I allowing money to be an accessory in my life...or do I cling to it as a necessity?
Is money an afterthought...or is it a constantly foreboding thought?
As a child of God, having Christ is my worth, my inheritance, my bankroll--anything else is an enhancement.
Am I living that truth out? Am I?
