IN YOUR CLOSET
Today's reading: Colossians 3-4

"Since God chose you to be the holy people whom he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." Colossians 3:12 NLT

If I could give you a small trinket for today's scripture, it would be a tiny coat hanger. A little one to wear as a pendant on your necklace chain or on a charm bracelet. A small one that you could carry with loose change in your pocket. A tiny one that could sit on the window sill where you wash dishes.

I would give it to remind you that as a child of His, you have in your closet what He desires you to wear.

It's not something lacking in your wardrobe.

It's not elusive.

It's not anything to do with your size or style.

It's not something you have to work to earn or work to own.

It's in your closet and when you choose to put it on, you then would have an empty coat hanger in your closet...and you will be wearing what He has designed you to wear.
