HIS LOVE AND CARE
Today's reading: Psalm 117-118
"The Lord is for me, so I will not be afraid..." Psalm 118:6 NLT
Strong words.
Encouraging words.
Take-to-the-bank kind of words.
Words that should make us cringe if we're not living for Him.
Because should He be for me if I'm living in sin?
Entangled in a grudge that holds my heart captive?
Nursing unhealthy habits?
Ignoring His commands?
Allowing anything or anyone to keep me from being fully His?
Blotting out His voice with a busy, too busy, life?
Because if I'm His, He will be for me--but I'll also be for Him. Wholeheartedly. Without a doubt. So blessed I want to be a blessing. So blanketed by mercy that I want to be merciful. So grace-filled that I desire to extend grace. Living a life that shouts the truth of this verse.
