A RIGHT HEART
Today's reading:  Numbers 1-4

"Appoint Aaron and his sons to carry out the duties of the priesthood.  Anyone else who comes too near the sanctuary must be executed."  Numbers 3:10 NLT

A little harsh you say?  Not something you'd expect from a loving God?  A too much religious zeal?

Not for a God worthy of worship and honor and all glory!

Anyone serving in the ministry, from the pulpit to the janitor's closet, must make sure they're where God has placed and called them to be.

For the sake of the church.  For the sake of themselves.

His calling, His mission, His evangelism is too, too important to rely on someone just 'holding a position'.  It requires more than someone just trying to fill some shoes or fulfill a duty.  It takes the right heart.  It takes a heart stirred and anointed for the task.
