WHO HOLDS THE KEYS?

Today's reading: Mark 3-4

"...You can't enter a strong man's house and rob him without first tying him up. Only then can his house be robbed!" Mark 3:27 NLT

Many of us use the excuse, 'The devil made me do it.'

Well, maybe, but in all reality, according to this verse--we handed him the keys and allowed him the access to our minds, the availability to our blessings and the acknowledgement of our weak areas.

Then he sets to work wreaking havoc.

In our thoughts.

In our comparing our blessings to another's.

In letting a tempation become a all-out, full-blown, need-to-be-repented-of sin.

But only because we've handed over the keys!
