MY WAY
Today's reading:  Proverbs 5-6

Does God ever laugh at you?

I mean really laugh--guffaw, roar or get down on His hands and knees in a belly-busting giggle?

 Has He snickered as you stood your ground on what you wanted, what you needed, what you desired?

Has He listened to your prayers and tried to suppress an out and out laugh?  Hearing what He believes to be wisdom and knowledge beyond His own?  Being issued orders and timeframes for your prayers to be answered?

Has He laughed to Himself as you stood wringing your hands as you watched life unfold, knowing something bigger and better was to be given you tomorrow?  Is it all He can do some days to keep from revealing the whole surprise of your future because He knows how very much you'll love it?

Our own way, most times, gets in the way of His.  He is patient and kind to tolerate our immaturity and disbelief.  He is loving to attend to our fears and concern.  He is full of laughter watching His children try to do His job!
