'TIS THE SEASON
Today's reading:  3 John

"...Remember that those who do good prove that they are God's children, and those who do evil prove that they do not know God."  3 John 11 NLT

'Tis the season for small children to be warned of the consequences of being on Santa's naughty list.  Elves are being placed on shelves as visual reminders.  Parents are humming 'You Better Watch Out' with every move their kids make.  No one wants to be on the 'naughty list'.

But what about us Christians?

This season--and throughout the year, really, we need to be watching what we're doing.

We need to be making sure that each action and each remark bear a striking resemblance to our Savior.

God is watching.  God is listening. 

God knows if we're behaving as one of His, or not!
