HARD KNOCK LIFE
Today's reading: Job 7-8
"...A person's life is long and hard, like that of a hired hand, like a worker who longs for the day to end, like a servant waiting to be paid." Job 7:1-2 NLT
Annie, of curly, red-headed musical fame, has told us 'it's a hard knock life'.
As believers we are clocking in each day, in blessed anticipation of our reward in heaven.
We meander through life with the constant reminder that this is not all there is.
We bump up against the blockades of the enemy, many of us bruised and beat down.
But this isn't it.
This isn't it by a long shot!
Heaven is in sight.
Our goal will be reached if we remain in Him and Him in us!
And, friends, it will be so very much worth it.
