THE NIGHT DRAGS ON
Today's reading:  Job 7-8

"When I go to bed, I think, When will it be morning?  But the night drags on, and I toss till dawn."  Job 7:4 NLT

When the night drags on...

Or the pain remains.

Or the bills keep piling up.

Or the storm clouds  continue to billow.

Or the opportunity goes to yet another.

Or the list of needs grows.

Or the temptation makes you stumble again.

Or the prodigal remains distant.

We have to remember God reigns.  Simply put, God reigns.  He reigns in the daytime when the sun shines--and He reigns at night when we cannot see the sun, the stars are clouded, the wolves howl, the fears grow bigger and the night seems to drag on.

Our God reigns. 

We are in His kingdom.  We are His children.  We feast at His table.  We walk in His strength.  We live with a hope of an eternal life provided by His Son, our Savior.  We claim His victories!
