TAKE HEART
Today's reading:  Acts 27-28

"So take courage!  For I believe God.  It will be just as he said."  Acts 27:25 NLT

I don't know about you, but I needed this encouraging reminder.

I needed the nudge for my prayer life.

I needed the boost in my beliefs.

I needed the shove for my convictions.

I needed the hand-up for my attempts at the Christian walk.

Because it's tough.  It's hard.  It's lonely sometimes, if you're looking for human company.  It's a daunting task.  It goes against every natural inclination in your being.

So to know Paul chose, thousands of years ago, to pen these words to boost my spirits, I will continue on.
