AGAINST HIM
Today's reading: Deuteronomy 12-15

"When the Lord your God destroys the nations and you drive them out and occupy their land, do not be trapped into following their example in worshiping their gods. Do not say, How do these nations worship their gods? I want to follow their example. You must not do this to the Lord your God..." Deuteronomy 12:29-31 NLT

'You must not do this to the Lord your God'.

Imagine doing something harmful against God?

Spiteful against the Lord?

Intentionally against Him?

We wouldn't dare, you say...

And yet, we do.

When we put our idols before Him.

When we worship what we create, purchase or have birthed.

When we believe, because of our enemy's lying thought-seeds, that it won't hurt anyone but ourselves.

But it is an offense against God.

A sin against Him.

We shouldn't do that!
