AM I STANDING OUT?
Today's reading:  Psalm 125-127

"We were filled with laughter and we sang for joy.  And the other nations said, 'What amazing things the Lord has done for them.'  Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us!  What joy!"  Psalm 126:2-3 NLT

Will the Christ living inside you be evident today?

In your morning routine?  In your workplace?  In traffic?  In the shopping lines?  In your afternoon activities?  In your church attendance this evening?

Are folks noticing that there's something different about you?

In what you say?  In the remarks and comments you make?  In the lack of criticism heard in your voice?  In the grace that marks your reactions?

Will those around you glorify God because of how you choose to live today?

In the praises that you sing?  In the choices you make not to let unwholesome talk come out of your mouth?  In the applause you give your Creator?  In the trust you place in His abilities?

Will the people around you say, before the day ends--What amazing things the Lord has done for them!

All who are strangers to the true God, however excellent they may be, deserve punishment if only because they contaminate the pure gifts of God.        -Augustine of Hippo
