A DIFFERENT KIND OF THINKING
Today's reading: Ecclesiastes 11-12
"God's ways are as hard to discern as the pathways of the wind, and as mysterious as a tiny baby being formed in a mother's womb." Ecclesiastes 11:5 NLT
Believing friend, it all boils down to this: God thinks differently than we do!
And that's OK--wonderfully and perfectly OK!
He sees more than we ever will. He sees farther into the story than we possibly can. He sees deeper into hearts than we're allowed. He knows more than we will ever know. He loves more perfectly than we do. He has different motives, different desires, different facets of the definitions of grace and mercy than we will ever uncover.
Attempting to figure Him out will leave us worn out, embarrassed, dumbfounded and exasperated. But watching Him at work will leave us speechless and in awe.
Yes, God has a different way of thinking than we do--praise God!
