COUNTING BLESSINGS
Today's reading:  Ecclesiastes 11-12

"Give generously, for your gifts will return to you later."  Ecclesiastes 11:1 NLT

As you sit before a piled-high plate, at a food-laden table, surrounded by loved ones from far and near you'll ponder this verse and agree wholeheartedly with Solomon.

It's not a promise.

It's a prediction.

You've seen it come true.  Give and get back ten-fold.  Give till it hurts and receive armloads--or at least a heartful.  Give of your time and your twenty four hours produce more than you could have imagined.

Thanksgiving is a day set aside to realize how generously God has gifted you when you have chosen to give.
