FEELING NO SHAME
Today's reading: Genesis 1-3
"Now, although Adam and his wife were both naked, neither of them felt any shame." Genesis 2:25 NLT
Shame is a thief and a murderer.
It steals one's identity. It robs one's dreams. It kills one's purpose and life.
Adam and Eve felt no shame at this point in their garden experience because they were living where God placed them, how God ordained them to live and in His presence at all times.
Tempting, isn't it?
To feel no shame for our walks.
To feel no shame what we have said.
To feel no shame because we are assured, wholeheartedly assured, of our identity.
To feel no shame for things outside our control.
It's possible! Garden of Eden or not, we can walk at all times in His presence and under His instruction. The Bible tells us how. The Holy Spirit guides us. The Cross makes it possible. God has created us for it.
