TAKE HEED
Today's reading: 2 Chronicles 35-36

"The Lord, the God of their ancestors, repeatedly sent his prophets to warn them, for he had compassion on his people and his Temple. But the people mocked these messengers of God and despised their words. They scoffed at the prophets until the Lord's anger could no longer be restrained and there was no remedy." 2 Chronicles 36:15-16 NLT

I want to make doubly sure I am hearing what God has to say to me.

Whether it's through the pages of His Word.

Or in the sermons my pastor presents.

Or by what the godly men and women I choose to have as dear advisors tell me.

Or in the quietness of my prayer time when I stop talking and just listen for Him.

I want to hear the Lord speak because I know what He says He says because He loves me and loves His church.

I believe He still speaks today.

And since He is still speaking, I know it's important that I take heed.
