What's stealing your heart, dear Christian?
-softly spoken words
-inspirational memes
-prosperity promises
-self-affirming chants
Is what's stealing your heart biblical? Is it from God? Is is backed up by what Jesus said while He walked and talked on this earth?
Our hearts are being stolen by words that tickle our ears but do not change our hearts.
Our hearts are being whisked away by programs that promote people, products and pride in one's self and abilities--but not the Lord.
Our hearts are being sold on the slave trader's auction block to what looks easier, funner, world-approved.
I'm convicted today to watch, very carefully, what's stealing my heart away from my Savior.
