COME

 "...Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!.." Revelation 22:20 NLT

Lord,

Come, Lord Jesus into my heart.  Push out all the things crowding You in there.  Remove the issues keeping me from being wholly Yours.  Clean out the closets and set things to order.

Come, Lord Jesus into my plans.  Keep my priorities firmly focused on You.  Use Your hedges to keep me from time-wasters.  Nudge me gently into the projects, ministries and lives You need me to do a work for You in.

Come, Lord Jesus into my home.  Make me a new Mom this year.  Give Dale a new, and improved wife.  Convict me to open our home, a gift from You, to more friends.  Give me strength to follow through on the convictions You place on my heart for my family. 

Come, Lord Jesus into my church.  Move me to arrive prepared for Your Spirit to fall.  Prepare me ahead of time for Your anointing.  Mold me into the kind of church member You want me to be.  Fill me with a new yearning for Your kingdom to enlarge.

Come, Lord Jesus with me into 2013.  Come with me, no--allow me to follow You into this New Year with anticipation and hope.  Point me in the direction of service.  Give me a renewed desire for things of You.
