APPLAUD THE FAITHFUL
Today's reading: 1 Thessalonians 1-3
"So we have been greatly comforted, dear brothers and sisters, in all our own crushing troubles and suffering, because you have remained strong in your faith. It gives us new life, knowing you remain strong in the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 3:7-8 NLT
This morning as you step into your sanctuary and settle yourself into your pew, look around.
Don't, this week, look for newcomers--potential new believers.
Oh, I'm not saying they are not vital to a growing church, but...
Look for the faithful.
Look for the faces that are there every single Sunday, rain or shine, good times or bad.
Notice the faithful ones.
The ones whose life stories propel you forward.
The ones who are stones in your worship foundation.
Applaud the faithful.
