ASKING WRONGLY
Today's reading: Matthew 20-22
"But Jesus told them, You don't know what you are asking!.." Matthew 20:22 NLT
I can see the mother kneeled respectfully in front of Jesus.
I can genuinely feel the desire for the best she has for her boys.
I can understand that from whate she had witnessed, Jesus was the One to be asking.
I can see the surprised look on her face when Jesus corrects her attempt at being a good mom.
And it's not just mothers with sons...
We think we know what's best.
We believe a certain plan or goal is what's going to amass the greatest possibilities--for us and for His kingdom.
We have it all planned out--and then He simply says, 'You don't know what you are asking!'
