NEVER TOO OLD
Today's reading: Galatians 1-3
"I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who in his love and mercy called you to share the eternal life he gives through Christ. You are already following a different way that pretends to be the Good News but it is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who twist and change the truth concerning Christ." Galatians 1:6-7 NLT
Paul spoke to the hearts of the Galatian church about their faith walks.
Sure, they were new Christians.
Sure, the times they were living in were tough.
Sure, this was all foreign to them.
But he didn't want them to quit!
I get that.
If I lived to be 100, it's not long enough to serve the Lord.
If I lived to be as old as Methuselah, it wouldn't be long enough.
If, at any time in my life, I decided to throw in the towel, try another 'god', it would be too soon...especially in comparison to eternity.
We cannot quit, brothers and sisters.
No matter our age.
No matter our trial.
No matter our past.
No matter our success rate.
No matter what, we cannot quit!
