It talks about two roads. Two options. Two choices. Two paths in life.
In today's Scripture reading, Jesus watched as those closest to Him, His disciples, came to the realization that Jesus' ministry and life wasn't going to look like what they had thought it would.
No conquering king.
No political upheaval.
No reigning monarch.
No triumphal entry on a stallion of brilliant white.
So they chose to leave.
To take another path.
Which means they didn't see the battle fought on Calvary.
They didn't see the freedom unleashed at the tomb on Easter Sunday.
They didn't get a glimpse of the Risen Savior with nailprints in His hands and feet standing in the crowded room.
Oh, what we can miss when we don't walk with Him!
