TRUE RELIGION
Today's reading:  1 Timothy 4-6

"Yet true religion with contentment is great wealth."  1 Timothy 6:6 NLT

True religion-a personal relationship with your Creator and Savior.

Contentment-satisfaction.

Wealth-assets.

Is that how we view the Christian walk?

Are we focused on what it truly means to worship and serve and love the One and Only God?  Or are we sidetracked and distracted by the efforts and the trappings of the church?  On the immensity of the privilege?

Are we satisfied with Him?  Is He enough?  Do we need more than He is, more than He offers us?

Is He our grandest treasure?  Is He our security?  Is He our most important resource?

I'll tell you, I've looked at it with a different set of lenses this morning...hoping you do, too.
