MY PEOPLE

Today's reading: Joel

"Don't be afraid, my people! Be glad now and rejoice because the Lord has done great things." Joel 2:21 NLT

Joel tells us to not fear.

Us, his fellow believers.

We, the members of the family of God.

Those words are not being spoken to those outside the faith. It's not being said to those who are taking their chances with their own strength, luck or depending upon the power and might of those in charge.

So if your faith is in God...

In the One True God...

The same God who created us and all we see...

Provided his Only Son for our sacrifice...

Adopted you into His family...

Pardoned and cleansed your every sin...

Remains King, Great Shepherd, Captain of the armies of angels, Friend and Sustainer...

We need not fear!
