MY LIPS

My favorite lipstick comes from Avon.

I adore the 3-step lip care system by Mary Kay.

I'm never without my Chapstick--I am a girl of the 70's, after all.  I have owned at least one of every possible flavor they've manufactured.

But my lips, well as much care as I take of them cosmetically, are a let down.

They deceive me.  They embarrass me.  They do not guard my mouth in the way I hope they would.  They are, at times, against me and my desire to speak only what is edifying, godly and kind!

I'd love for God to say about my lips the same things King Solomon spoke to his princess...but it'll take a lot more work on His part and on mine before that can happen.
