WHERE ARE YOU LOOKING?
Today's reading: Luke 23-24
"The women were terrified and bowed low before them. Then the men asked, Why are you looking in a tomb for someone who is alive?" Luke 25:5 NLT
The angelic beings redirected the gaze of the women wanting to attend to Jesus' body.
He asked them a simple question: Why are you looking in a tomb for someone who is alive?
It's a good question for us to ask ourselves...
-Why are we looking for God on one day a week, when He cannot be contained in all of eternity?
-Why are we looking for relationship with our Creator in religious rules, when He is the One who offers us freedom?
-How can we think we will find godliness in politicians, when the God we serve cannot be governed?
-How can we hope to understand Him, when His ways and means cannot be fathomed?
-Why do we look for Him in a church house, when all of creation cannot hold Him?
Just where are we looking for Him?
