IN THIS WAY
Today's reading: Leviticus 13-15

"In this way, you will keep the people of Israel from things that will defile them, so they will not die as a result of defiling my Temple that is right there among them." Leviticus 15:31 NLT

Folks outside the church, and some inside, feel the Bible and Christianity is too full of rules and laws.

But when one reads a verse like today's, the simple truth of it, the far-reaching consequences of it, the life-altering impact of it, you realize we cannot have too many rules to follow.

We need help in becoming godly.

We need assistance in growing closer to the Lord.

We need all the aid we can get to keep ourselves from running the show and allowing Him to do it.

He has given these instructions to keep us from things that defile us--know anyone else, from the pinnacle of our high courts to the smallest home town officials that love us that much?
