STOPPING OUR EARS
Today's reading: Galatians 1-3
"Even that question wouldn't have come up except for some so-called Christians there-false ones, really-who came to spy on us and see our freedom in Christ Jesus. They wanted to force us, like slaves, to follow their Jewish regulations. But we refused to listen to them for a single moment. We wanted to preserve the truth of the Good News for you." Galatians 2:4-5 NLT
Did you know it's okay not to listen?
If it might mean that you would ever turn away from the truth of Scripture or what God was calling you to do--it's okay to stop up your ears.
That being said, it's going to require that you be in the Word enough to know truth from half-truth and to be with God enough to know His voice from the voice of another.
Because half-truths sound tempting and others' voices will tickle your ears.
Be prepared to not listen when you must!
