WHAT AM I DOING?
Today's reading:  Proverbs 11-12

"Upright citizens bless a city and make it prosper, but the talk of the wicked tears it apart."  Proverbs 11:11 NLT

President Kennedy is given credit for saying, 'Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.'  A great quote.  A reminder of our role in making the USA great and strong and respected.  A placing of responsibility on the shoulders of the responsible.

To know what our former president said along with what I found in the proverbs this morning really make me think...

Am I a blessing to my home, my church, my city, my state, my country?

Is how I act and what I say bringing honor to the place I live, serve, am privileged to be a part of?

Am I a 'blesser' or one who tears down?

Is God being glorified in the spot I'm in?
