SEEKING A TREASURE
Today's reading:  Jeremiah 27-31

"I will be found by you, says the Lord..."  Jeremiah 29:14 NLT

I would have to say this is probably one of my favorite of God's promises in the Book.

It holds potential.  It cries out hope.  It gives me reason to anticipate.  It's a guarantee I can bank on.

Even when I'm not seeing clearly.

Or understanding completely.

Or believing with my entirety that He is in the happenings of the moment.

When I'm not seeing prayers answered.

Even then.

My God promises that if I'm looking, I will find Him.

So, let's go ahead and recognize the elephant in the room, when I'm not seeing Him--whose fault is it?
