WAIT WITH ANTICIPATION

Today's reading: Jeremiah 12-16

"Can any of the foreign gods send us rain? Does it fall from the sky by itself? No, it comes from you, the Lord our God! Only you can do such things. So we will wait for you to help us." Jeremiah 14:22 NLT

I don't know how long you've been waiting for an answer to your prayer.

I can't imagine, if you are anything like me, how many times you have attempted to help the Lord out in fulfilling your need.

I don't know the number of times you have knelt, cried out, whispered or moaned in prayer for that one single request.

Keep waiting.

Only God can answer in the way that will change hearts and lives.

Only God can answer in the way that will glorify Him.

Only God can answer in the way that will leave you testifying of His greatness.

So wait.

However long it takes, wait.

No matter how many times our lying enemy tells you God can't, won't, isn't going to do it for you--wait.

Keep praying and keep waiting.

It will be worth it.
