INFLUENCED
Today's reading: 1 Kings 19-22

"No one else so completely sold himself to what was evil in the Lord's sight as did Ahab, for his wife, Jezebel, influenced him." 1 Kings 21:25 NLT

Influenced-to have affected or altered by indirect or intangible means; to have had an effect on the condition or development of.

Sure, one can argue that they are no more and no less than a product of their raising and their environments--until we see those who stand and rise against insurmountable odds.

Influence is very real.

Influence clouds our view.

Influence could very easily become an excuse...and yet, we are all still to be held personally accountable for each and every action, or inaction, we take.

We determine what influences us.

We allow it the leash it needs to touch our lives--or not.
