Today's reading: Deuteronomy 20-22

"...Do not be afraid as you go out to fight today!..." Deuteronomy 20:3 NLT

Obstacles will be placed in your path by your enemy--do not be afraid!

Temptations will surface and rage at your weakest points--do not be afraid!

Darkness may very well overshadow you--do not be afraid!

Your attempts will be misconstrued and taken out of context--do not be afraid!

Failure may occur--do not be afraid!

Plans may not come to fruition--do not be afraid!

Friends, and family, will let you down--do not be afraid!

Things will happen, things will fail to happen. People will surprise you, in good ways and in bad. God will be with you every step of the way, whether you see Him or not! Satan will try his best to thwart every effort you make to choose godliness, but he will not win if you do not allow him to.

Stay strong. You've got a battle ahead of you, but you don't have to be afraid--God's right beside you.
