SEEKING ADVICE
Today's reading: Esther 1-5

"When it was Esther's turn to go to the king, she accepted the advice of Hegai, the eunuch in charge of the harem. She asked for nothing except what he suggested, and she was admired by everyone who saw her." Esther 2:15 NLT

If I am to stand before the King...

If I am to be a representative of Him at all times and in all circumstances...

If I have been adopted into His family, given His inheritance, provided with His name and redeemed through His Son's blood...

If I have been asked to tell everyone I meet about Him...

Would it not behoove me to seek counsel from those closest to Him?

Esther did.

I'll put down Facebook. Push aside Google. I'll only use Pinterest for recipe ideas. I'll seek advice only from those whose lives I admire because of their godliness. I'll turn to the Bible more.

Because when it's my turn to stand before the King, I want His approval!
