LOOK FOR HIM

Today's reading: Song of Solomon 3-4

"One night as I lay in bed, I yearned deeply for my lover, but he did not come. So I said to myself, I will get up now and roam the city, searching for him in all its streets and squares. But my search was in vain." Song of Solomon 3:1-2 NLT

The account is of a young Shunemite woman who was looking for her prince, or in this instance, King Solomon.

It tells of the lengths she was willing to go to just to find him.

The effort she would take.

The steps she would walk just to be with him.

But her search was in vain. He was no where to be found by her.

Oh friends, this reminds me of how easy it is to find our True Love.

Just call His name and He is with us.

Just whisper a cry to Him and He is near.

Not always with the answer we want or the remedy we think we so desperately need at the moment, but He is with us.
