"O Lord, our God, the majesty of your name fills the earth!" Psalm 8:9 NLT

Merriam Webster says majesty is, sovereign power, authority, dignity; a greatness or splendor of quality or character.

Perfect word for the Lord, wouldn't you agree?

No one ranks higher.

No power is greater.

No one stands in authority over God.

No one, living or dead, has ever matched His characteristics.

No specific word-- great, wonderful, amazing, outstanding--can completely encompass His very being.

The enormity of our Lord's name fills the earth.

The mountains shout His majesty.

The skies relate to us His vastness.

The delicacy of a flower petal tell us of His attention to detail.

The salvation of a sinner tells of His love for mankind.

The provision for His saints speaks of His care.

The whisper of His name calls all of heaven's armies to attention.

O Lord, our God, the majesty of your name fills the earth!
