Today's reading: Acts 23-24

"I have hope in God..." Acts 24:15 NLT

As Paul stood before the Jewish leaders who would decide his fate, he made this simple statement of faith.

He did not depend upon them for justice, right decision making or help. He couldn't, they were merely men.

What about you?

As you stand in front of a jury of your peers? In the middle of a trial of faith? Amidst crashing waves and boating-sinking winds--are you making the same statement of faith?

Though all may crumble around you, are you depending upon God for all you need and want?
