NOW AND THEN
Today's reading: 1 Corinthians 14-16
"And if we have hope in Christ only for this life, we are the most miserable people in the world." 1 Corinthians 15:19 NLT
What a Christ we serve!
He is for us now...praise God!
And He is preparing us for an eternity with Him...Hallelujah!
But we, Christians, cannot focus entirely on one or the other at any given time.
We cannot live so wrapped up in today that our hopes and dreams of heaven don't spur us on, and yet we cannot be 'so heavenly minded that we are no earthly good'.
It's a balancing act for sure.
A teeter-totter we are riding while we await our eternal homes.
