HIS WAY
Today's reading:  Exodus 25-28

"Be sure that you make everything according to the pattern I have shown you here on the mountain."  Exodus 25:40 NLT

He has His ways.

His way to build a Tabernacle.

His way to get us to heaven.

His way for us to live.

And we have our way.  Boy, oh boy, do we have our own ways!

And we wonder why our hearts are unsettled and our lives are filled with emptiness when we don't do what we know He expects.

Oh sure, there are times when we are waiting on His instructions and guiding hand--but let's be honest, most of our rough patches in life come when we deliberately go against what He wants us to do!

So, let's do what He asked.  Once we get that done, hearing from Him about the stuff we're wondering about will be a little easier.
