MY GOD
Today's reading:  Psalm 114-116

"He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling."  Psalm 116:8 NLT

God and I go back a long time. 

I cannot point to any one time in my forty-one years when He was not beside me, ahead of me, behind me or wooing me to get back in step with Him.

He has seen me through some less than desirable days, some longer than the dark lasts nights.

He has poured on to me countless blessings from His coffers.

He has directed me with His Word, with His control of the universe and with irritating reins.
  
He is my God and I will serve Him all the days of my life. 

If the blessings from His hand and the love from His heart were to stop today--I'd still owe Him my lifelong allegiance for all He's done!
