THOSE SPARED

Today's reading: Ezekiel 7-12

"But I will spare a few of them from death by war, famine or disease, so they can confess to their captors about how wicked they have been. Then they will know that I am the Lord!" Ezekiel 12:16 NLT

When that time comes.

(Assuming we are not already in that time.)

It will take a deep-seated heart survey to know if you are the one spared to do the evangelizing--or the one needing the warning laid out before.

That's a sad, but honest truth, friends.

Sin has a way of blinding us to its filth, to its stench, to its far-reaching entanglements into our lives. 

Let's be very careful of how we are living...

And how we are accepting the honest, loving and edifying words of godly friends.

Maybe, just maybe, they are seeing something in our lives that we are refusing to see.
