STICKING WITH HIM
Today's reading: 2 Kings 1-3

"And Elijah said to Elisha, Stay here, for the Lord has told me to go to Bethel. But Elisha replied, As surely as the Lord lives and you yourself live, I will never leave you! So they went on together to Bethel." 2 Kings 2:2 NLT

Three times you can read that Elisha said the same thing to Elijah...No, I won't leave you!

He was determined to stick by Elijah's side. No matter where he went. No matter what he endured. No matter what it required.

That's commitment.

That's dedication.

That's servitude.

That's love.

Is that something that can be said of our commitment/dedication/service/love to the Lord?

Will I go where ever He asks?

Will I seek Him out where ever it is He has me?

Will I know, without a doubt, He is with me no matter the external circumstances?

Will I not leave His side for anything?
