IT'S ABOUT HIM
Today's reading: Isaiah 23-28

"Then at last the Lord Almighty will himself be Israel's crowning glory. He will be the pride and joy of the remnant of his people." Isaiah 28:5 NLT

The remnant is worried about the decline in their numbers. The remnant is concerned that they are becoming a minority. The remnant is feeling unheard, unseen and uneasy.

Could it be our excitement has settled on less worthy things?

Could our crowning glories be...

preachers and programs?
offerings and outreaches?
missionaries and ministries?
buildings and baptisms?
stands taken and stories told of the local church?

When our crowning glory, our pride and joy, our reason to rejoice and our main focus should be the Lord Almighty?

When He is lifted up, all people will be drawn unto Him--it's His promise(John 12:32).
